About me ...
I am 43 years old. I was born and raised in Askim in the county of Østfold in Norway - a little under an hour from the capital of Oslo.
I am a husband and a father, but foremost, I am a Child of God. I am actively involved in Christian ministry - both through my local Church (Church of Norway / Normisjon), through Scripture Union and the OASE ministry and through my daily work as CEO of Kommunion inc. and Ecclesia Systems inc.
I have been married to my wonderful wife Annette since 1995, and we have two daughters: Susanne 18 years old and Miriam 14 years old. Read more about them here.
Even though I like working out, I haven't prioritized that in my schedule for a few years now, but have finally started again. That's great! Back in my younger days, I really liked martial arts, and did Taekwondo, boxing and kickboxing. In Taekwondo I actually hold a 2nd degree black belt. Maybe I will take that up some day? :-)
I am a master of science in computer science with several years as a research scientist, and I have published scientific articles internationally. Since 2000 I have refocused and fueled that skillset with a growing passion of mine: to create webbased solutions where Christians are Created, Connected and Developed. I love to use my skills to further the Kingdom and to reach new believers, help them connect with others and to mature and grow them spiritually. I see that as a life calling, and currently this is done through the projects called Cornerstone and Churchwall. They are the biggest projects I have ever been involved with, and I just love it. We work in international teams with the greatest people I have ever been involved with. The main resources are in Norway, Russia and the Ukraine, but solid and increasing contributions are being made from people in France, USA, Costa Rica, Argentina, Afghanistan, Iran and Indonesia.
